Winterfest 2008 is being brought to you by the Soggy Bottom Boyz Club in cooperation with Brimstone Recreation.  We invite everyone to come ride with us.  Ride along with the Windrock ATV Club, Harlan County Ridge Runners, the Royal Blue Rangers, and several other clubs from this region.  There are no events, just a FREE guided ride all you have to have is your daily permit.

Get R’ Done First Annual Poker Run

Brimstone hosted a 4th of July Poker Run for the Huntsville Fire Department.  Half of the proceeds went to the Fire Department.  The other half went to the winner of the Poker Run, Kyle Anderson.  Kyle Anderson generously turned around and then donated the other half to the Huntsville Fire Department.

Brimstone White Knuckle Event

Brimstone was broke in at the White Knuckle Event 2007.  There were nearly 3,000 ATV enthusiasts that attended the event.  The Poker Run started off Saturday morning from the Town of Huntsville which led to the poker stops on the Brimstone property.  There was also a sled pull, mud bog, drag race, and mud dive that took place on the Brimstone Strip right there in the town of Huntsville. Anthony Smith also performed his new hit, “If That Ain’t Country,” on Saturday night at the Huntsville Square.

Fisher’s ATV World

Fisher’s ATV World visited Brimstone Recreation the week before the Memorial Day event.  They rode all over the mountain side and got a lot of good footage for their show.  Brimstone will be aired on Fisher’s ATV World on September 17-23, 2007.

Jimmy Houston visits Brimstone Recreation

Jimmy Houston star of Jimmy Houston Outdoors on ESPN2 was at the Brimstone Recreation office for autograph signings and fishing advice.

Casa Benefit Event

Brimstone hosted an event for CASA which is an organization for abused and neglected children, primarily in Juvenile Court.  The event started off with a ride that morning on the Brimstone property, and ended with a drag race down at the Huntsville Lake.

Relay for Life Benefit ATV Ride

Brimstone offered a short, moderate, and hardcore ride on the Brimstone property in which all daily permits sold on that day went to the Relay for Life.
